Greek Intaglio Gold Ring. Circa 5th-4th century BCE. A polished garnet intaglio depicting a stylised ant, set in to a later filigree ring. The band is formed of three round-sectioned wires that terminate with outward scrolls at the shoulders. 3.58g, 23.46mm. 21.24mm internal. British ring size; S 1/2. US size 9. ex. D.
